2011 Volkswagen Amarok

2011 Volkswagen Amarok achieves ratings of 7E and 8E and it also is in some of the lowest insurance groups. The pick-up introduces a more efficient 2.0 litre diesel, which offers better efficiency, more power and low fuel consumption. VW Amarok has the lowest CO2 emission in its segment – 199 g/km.

The engine is 2.0 litre TDI with 122PS and 340Nm at just 1750RPM, while the more powerful bi-turbo model with 163PS and 400Nm at 1750RPM has emissions figure of 209 g/km of CO2. All models come with 6-speed manual transmission. The performance is pretty good – 0 to 62 mph in 13.7 seconds for the 122PS version and 11.1 seconds for the 163PS model. 2011 Amarok Highline offers a maximum towing weight of 2 800 kg with permanent 4MOTION, while the models with selectable 4MOTION can tow up to 2 690kg.

The 2.0 litre TDI achieves 37.2 mpg, while the bi-turbo models returns 35.8 mpg. The fuel tank has 80 litre of capacity, so the Amarok has a theoretical range of more than 650 miles.

A full range of accessories, from iPod adaptors and Bluetooth kits, to hard tops, tonneau covers and towbars, will be available for the new Volkswagen Amarok pick-up when it goes on sale in the UK on 1 May.

There are also some styling options like a front bumper trim, exterior decor sets, side steps, stainless steel side rails, styling bars for the loadspace and the option to upgrade to 19” alloys.

2012 Volkswagen Beetle

2012 Volkswagen Beetle Review and Specification. The car that this one was very received praise from its customers. Given the initial generation of car-making resulted in success for his company. Volkswagen Beetle dubbed mini-a comfortable small car and very many people who disliked it. This car is celebrating its debut on the continents to become very famous.

This car is very famous for leaving a story for those who know. History is never etched, making a memory, which until now feasible in the know. Their engineers worked hard to develop this car in order to get maximum performance and public adulation. And now finally been proven.

2011 styling. Despite all of its individuality, the styling follows the Volkswagen design DNA created by Walter de Silva and Klaus Bischoff. It clearly expresses itself in the horizontal image of the front bumper, front air inlet, straight lines of the bonnet edges, the precisely drawn line between the A-pillar and C-pillar and the styling of the rear lights.

In the USA, the VW Beetle will be offered as a turbodiesel for the first time. The Beetle 2.0 TDI (103 kW / 140 PS) meets all USA emission limits and attains 40 mpg fuel economy in the Highway cycle, 29 mpg in City driving, and 33 mpg combined. As a result, the Volkswagen Beetle is a good choice as one of the most fuel-efficient cars in its class.

The New Beetle was a cathedral inside. In front, the Beetle is now somewhat lower in profile, since the domed roof of its predecessor has been eliminated. It now offers 1,044 mm interior height instead of the previous 1,082 mm. However, the 38 mm will hardly be missed, even by very tall drivers, since the New Beetle’s interior was a “cathedral” among compact cars. Meanwhile, in the rear seating area, the longer roof section results in a distinctly larger feeling of space. The bootspace is significantly larger; it now holds 310 instead of 209 litres. As usual, the car has a split, folding rear seatback, and a wide opening bootlid making it is easy to load and unload.

2011 Volkswagen GTI

The Mark VI GTI is upon us and sport-compact fans around the world are rejoicing. The GTI is a perennial favorite among German car enthusiasts due to its solid construction, excellent handling characteristics, and flat-out speed.

Based on the sixth-generation Golf and available from the 2010 model year onward, the new GTI is an evolutionary improvement of this hot-hatch.

Following in the tradition of past Golf models, this performance version of the car doesn't look radically different from the standard Golf. That being said, larger wheels and tires, a lowered suspension, and a few GTI-specific parts are part of the equation that sets the GTI apart from its little brother. The popular honeycomb grill returns with a more aggressive look and the now familiar red striping.

The latest GTI is powered by a new 2.0-liter TSI motor - a turbocharged four-cylinder good for 200 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque.

As with the Mark V models, power is delivered to the front wheels via either a six-speed DSG transmission or a six-speed manual gearbox. Those opting for the DSG transmission will enjoy both a set of paddle shifters and the manual shift gate on the tiptronic gear shifter.

For the first time VW is offering the GTI with an electronic differential called XDS. The GTI now also features an adaptive dampening feature found in the Scirocco which is called Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC). DCC will allow the driver to switch between normal, comfort, and sport ride styles and the hatch will automatically adjust the throttle and steering response to adjust to the ride style.

Expect the 2010 GTI to continue the tradition of quality interior styling with contrast stitching, quality plastics, metal foot metals, and a leather wrapped steering wheel with audio controls. A new touch screen GPS system will be made available and redesigned climate controls sourced from the Passat CC will be standard.

Just as the Mark V paid homage to the original GTI with its interlagos plaid seats the Mark VI will continue this heritage of quirky, yet cool seating surfaces.

Outside you'll find a redesigned set of fog lamps, headlights, and tail lights as well as a large roof spoiler and lower diffuser. As with previous years, the new GTI will be available in both two- and four-door versions.
